trigonometry - Proving that $\tan \theta=\cot(90^\circ-\theta

I'm asked to prove $\tan \theta=\cot (90-\theta)$ So $\tan \theta =\frac{a}{b}=\cot(90^\circ-\theta)$ But what if $\theta>90?$
