With school back in session, I’m getting back into my groove and there’s been a huge request to share more workwear. You may have seen this recent blog post with teacher outfit ideas. Today I’m partnering with Express to share some neutral workwear pieces that can be building block pieces for a workwear capsule wardrobe! I love the soft knit line of workwear pieces from Express because the material has good stretch and doesn’t wrinkle. If I see the word “poplin” on a clothing item I run the other way because it translates to “stays pressed for 2 seconds”. No matter what you wear to work, if it’s wrinkled, it makes the outfit look sloppy in my opinion. The joggers feel like sweatpants but they look so chic. There are multiple color options but do note the length. These are only offered in one length and it fits me well and I am 5’11”. The blazer that pairs with it is such a flattering cut it looks tailored! I’m wearing xs in both pieces.
